Having had difficulty conceiving for 5 years, AA was diagnosed as having PCOS on both side of her ovaries at the age of 33. Prior to coming to see Anna, it had been 3 years since she could get period on her own and AA had undergone 3 Clomid cycles (50-150mg) with no luck. Her hormone laboratory test showed she had low progesterone level.

Determined to have a child naturally, she turned to the help of Jinglan where she underwent 3 months of weekly Acupuncture in combination with a Chinese herbal tea concoction taken twice[2] daily. Since she was unable to get her period, we could not predict what phases she was in during her menstrual cycle, thus the treatment was aiming primarily to bring her period naturally by creating an artificial cycle to stimulate and regulate her body.

Baby #1

Within a month’s treatments, AA noticed significant difference in her body such as she was able to sleep well, no longer would wake up at 3 am in the morning; no more cold hands and feet and no more thick socks even though it was a cold winter; increased appetite thus she was able to put on some weight, from 114 lb. to 118 lb. (5’8’’1/2), to establish a healthy BMI for her body type.

After 8 weeks of treatments, AA got her first periods naturally. Second period came after 29 days. AA decided to stop treatment and see. After 5 weeks trying on her own, she got pregnant.

AA got pregnant after about 12 weeks since she came for the first time (8 weeks for actual acupuncture and herbal treatments). She gained 12 lb. since her first time coming for the treatments. (114lb. to 126lb.)

Her miracle boy NA was born weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs 15oz. Her husband BA and AA couldn’t be happier and were so grateful they opted for Acupuncture in lieu of IVF. Skeptical of Acupuncture at first, she is now a believer of the treatment and recommend it to anyone having problems conceiving.

AA had tried on her own again at the age of 35. She was able to get pregnant without any treatments this time; however, she had a miscarriage in 3 months. Next, she tried one Clomid cycle and had been trying timed intercourse but none of them had worked. She had 30 to 45 day cycles on her own at that time. AA came back to us and after treaments with Acupuncture and herbs, she got pregnant again after seeing one period.

Never Gives Up!

Anna is an incredibly knowledgeable, gentle and passionate practitioner. I worked with Anna since June of 2023 with the goal of supporting fertility and conception - even when you feel like giving up, she won't.

At 35+ with a slightly lower AMH and little to no success with ART, I was so defeated but decided to turn exclusively to Anna to support me naturally. SM was 32 years old female with no pregnancy history. She had been trying for 2 years.

SM was diagnosed with PCOS. She had complained about weight gain for 3 years as well as her irregular and long menstrual cycles (from 35 days up to 72 days). PMS such as emotional, breast tenderness and severe cramps during periods had been bothering her as well. SM also had hypothyroidism for 2 years and she found herself getting tired easily.

Before coming to PCM, SM had undergone 2 IUI with injection. She also had received acupuncture treatment from a Naturopathic doctor for 6 months. None of them worked.

Baby #1

SM strictly maintained weekly acupuncture and daily herbs except during 2 weeks of her vacation. After almost 5 months, her 3rd cycle of treatment, SM cancelled her appointment with her new fertility doctor she made appointment with before coming to PCM because she believed Eastern medicine was working on her. SM had been noticing differences with her periods having less and less cramps and PMS before her periods, and cycle days getting shorter and more regular (between 30 days to 40 days now). She wanted to keep up the good work. SM found herself pregnant naturally very soon with the help of acupuncture and herbs.

SM graduated with honours from us after receiving pregnancy support treatment for biweekly acupuncture due to financial situation until gestational week 16 but kept taking herbs everyday at the same time until about gestational week 12.

After SM’s first son, she tried on her own for more than 5 months. Having no luck, SM returned back to us for same weekly acupuncture and daily herbs. After 1 cycle, SM didn’t get her 2nd period but got pregnant again. With previous treatments she had done for her first attempt, her second attempt with us was much easier.

SM came back to us 6 weeks after stopping breast feeding her 2nd child. Just like the second time, she was pregnant after 1 cycle doing acupuncture and herbs and she is now expecting her third baby!

Treatment Result

After 1 cycle of treatment, her menstrual cycle days became regular to about 32 days. She then got pregnant after 8 cycles of treatment. Unlike her previous pregnancies, sh felt more energetic in the early pregnancy and gave birth to her healthy daughter at the age of 39.

Anna Is Wonderful

Anna has been wonderful!!! After several miscarriages I started seeing Anna before I started several back to back egg retrievals to Bank Embryos.

I had several failed implantations, so Anna also added in herbs I took after transfer to help with implantation and reduce miscarriage. Well sure enough it worked!!!! I took the herbs up to 12 weeks and this is the only pregnancy I've had zero issues. I'm now just over 16 weeks and everything has been great. Positive Effects

I've been going to see Anna since I had my first miscarriage. I've went to 2 other fertility acupuncturist before that. (Background: 2 rounds of IVF, had miscarriage at 19w + 1 chemical pregnancy + 1 failed transfer).

I'm not new to chinese herbs, growing up with a mother that brew tea concoctions.
